This Apple Cider Sangria is the ultimate fall drink—easy to make, bursting with seasonal flavors, and perfect for cozy gatherings or solo indulgence.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups (1L) fresh, unfiltered apple cider
  • 1 bottle (750ml) dry white wine (Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio)
  • 1 cup (240ml) brandy (apple brandy optional)
  • 2 apples, thinly sliced (Honeycrisp or Granny Smith preferred)
  • 1 orange, sliced into rounds
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 45 cloves (optional)
  • 1 cup (240ml) club soda
  • 12 tablespoons maple syrup (adjust to taste)

Instructions

  1. Slice the apples and oranges into thin rounds, removing any seeds from the oranges.
  2. In a large pitcher, combine apple cider, white wine, and brandy.
  3. Stir in the sliced apples, oranges, cinnamon sticks, and cloves. Let the mixture sit for at least 30 minutes to meld flavors.
  4. Taste the sangria and add maple syrup for sweetness, stirring well.
  5. Just before serving, pour in club soda for a bubbly finish.
  6. Ladle the sangria into glasses, ensuring each one gets a mix of fruit and liquid. Garnish with extra apple slices or a cinnamon stick if desired.

Notes

[‘Let the sangria chill for at least 30 minutes or up to 24 hours for better flavor.’, ‘Use fresh, high-quality apple cider for the best taste.’, ‘Add club soda just before serving to maintain fizz.’, ‘Keep the sangria chilled with ice cubes or frozen fruit to avoid dilution.’]
