A quick and easy iced latte featuring creamy oat milk, rich espresso, brown sugar, and warm cinnamon for a sweet and spicy twist on your usual coffee routine.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 shots espresso (about 2 fl oz / 60 ml) or 1/2 cup (120 ml) strong brewed coffee
  • 1 cup (240 ml) oat milk (preferably barista-style)
  • 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar (light or dark)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup (240 ml) ice cubes
  • Pinch of sea salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brew two shots of espresso (about 2 fl oz / 60 ml) or 1/2 cup (120 ml) strong brewed coffee using a moka pot or French press. Set aside to cool slightly.
  2. In a small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of brown sugar with 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon. Add a pinch of sea salt if using and stir to blend evenly.
  3. Add the brewed espresso, 1 cup (240 ml) oat milk, the brown sugar-cinnamon mixture, and about 1 cup (240 ml) ice cubes into a blender.
  4. Blend on medium-high speed until the ice is crushed and the mixture is creamy and frothy, about 30 seconds.
  5. Pour the latte into a tall glass and sprinkle a little cinnamon on top for garnish.
  6. Optional: Drizzle extra brown sugar syrup or honey on top before serving for added sweetness.

Notes

Warm brown sugar slightly if clumpy before mixing with cinnamon. Use fresh espresso cooled slightly to avoid melting ice too quickly. Adjust sweetness to taste. Fresh clear ice cubes blend best. Chill glass before serving for longer coldness. Can substitute brown sugar with coconut sugar or monk fruit sweetener for lower glycemic index. Optional spices like nutmeg, cardamom, or vanilla extract can be added for variation.
