Garlic Ritz snacks are a quick, crunchy, and addictive party appetizer featuring buttery Ritz crackers tossed in a savory garlic butter mixture and baked until golden. Perfect for gatherings, movie nights, or last-minute guests, these snacks are always a crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 sleeves Ritz crackers (about 60 crackers)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (115g), melted
  • 45 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, finely chopped (or 2 teaspoons dried parsley)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese, finely grated (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and let gently bubble for 2–3 minutes until fragrant but not browned. Remove from heat.
  3. Place Ritz crackers in a medium mixing bowl. Pour warm garlic butter over crackers and gently toss with a spatula until evenly coated.
  4. Sprinkle in chopped parsley, salt, black pepper, and parmesan cheese if using. Toss gently to combine.
  5. Spread crackers in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring none are overlapping.
  6. Bake for 8–10 minutes, watching closely at the 8-minute mark. Crackers should be golden and aromatic.
  7. Remove from oven and let cool on the sheet for 5 minutes to crisp up further.
  8. Transfer to a bowl or tray for serving.

Notes

For gluten-free, use gluten-free butter crackers. For vegan, use plant-based butter and omit cheese or use vegan cheese. Toss gently to avoid breaking crackers. Bake in a single layer for even crisping. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze and reheat to revive crunch.
