  • 12 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Crackers, chips, or baguette slices for serving

Instructions

  1. Dice the cherry tomatoes into small, uniform pieces.
  2. Mince the garlic and chop the basil leaves finely.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced tomatoes and minced garlic. Stir gently.
  4. Add the chopped basil and mix well.
  5. Drizzle olive oil and balsamic vinegar over the mixture. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir gently until evenly coated.
  6. If using Parmesan cheese, sprinkle it in and mix again.
  7. Cover the bowl and let the dip rest in the refrigerator for at least 10 minutes.
