These pepperoni pizza roll breadsticks combine the cheesy goodness of pizza with the portability of breadsticks, making them a perfect snack for any occasion.

  • 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • Pepperoni slices (regular or turkey)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • Marinara sauce for dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out your pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle, about 12 x 15 inches.
  3. Sprinkle an even layer of shredded mozzarella cheese over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  4. Arrange pepperoni slices on top of the cheese, spacing them out evenly.
  5. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese and a pinch of garlic powder over the pepperoni and mozzarella.
  6. Using a pizza cutter or sharp knife, slice the dough into 1-inch strips. You should get around 12-15 strips.
  7. Carefully roll each strip into a spiral, starting from one end and working your way down. Place each rolled breadstick seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  8. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with a teaspoon of Italian seasoning. Brush this mixture generously over the tops of the breadsticks.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, or until the breadsticks are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  10. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve with a side of warm marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

Don’t overfill the dough to prevent breadsticks from falling apart during baking. Use parchment paper for easy cleanup and roll the dough tightly to keep the filling intact.
