  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups (270 grams) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup (50 grams) mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup (150 grams) Halloween candies

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together unsalted butter, light brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and beat until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
  6. Stir in semi-sweet chocolate chips and mini marshmallows using a rubber spatula.
  7. Spread the dough evenly into the prepared baking pan and smooth it out to the edges.
  8. Sprinkle Halloween candies on top, pressing them gently into the dough.
  9. Bake for 22-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center looks set.
  10. Let the cookie bars cool completely in the pan before lifting them out using the parchment paper. Slice into squares and serve.
