Moose Farts Recipe - featured image

A quirky no-bake dessert combining rich chocolate, chewy coconut, and a hint of sweetness into bite-sized treats. Perfect for any occasion and minimal effort required!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: Mini chocolate chips, crushed nuts, or a splash of rum

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sweetened shredded coconut and unsweetened cocoa powder. Stir until the coconut is evenly coated in chocolate.
  2. Pour in the sweetened condensed milk and add the vanilla extract. Mix well until everything comes together into a thick, sticky mixture.
  3. If using optional extras like mini chocolate chips or crushed nuts, fold them into the mixture now.
  4. Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, portion out small amounts of the mixture and roll them into balls with your hands. Place each ball onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Transfer the baking sheet to the refrigerator and chill for at least 1 hour or until the Moose Farts are firm.
  6. Serve chilled or at room temperature. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.

Notes

If the mixture is too sticky to handle, refrigerate it for 10-15 minutes before rolling into balls. Lightly grease your palms with coconut oil to make rolling easier.
