This easy homemade slushie blends rosé wine, pink lemonade, and fresh strawberries for the ultimate summer cocktail. It’s tangy, sweet, icy-cold, and perfect for parties or relaxing by the pool.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (750 ml) bottle dry or semi-sweet rosé wine
  • 1 (12 oz) can frozen pink lemonade concentrate
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced (or thawed frozen strawberries)
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 24 tablespoons simple syrup or agave nectar, to taste
  • 1/4 cup vodka (optional)
  • 23 cups ice cubes
  • Garnishes: lemon wheels or wedges, fresh strawberries or raspberries, mint sprigs, sugar for rimming glasses

Instructions

  1. Freeze the rosé wine in a large freezer-safe container or ice cube trays for 6-8 hours or overnight for a thicker frosé. If short on time, skip this step and use extra ice in step 4.
  2. Hull and slice the strawberries. If using frozen strawberries, thaw slightly for easier blending.
  3. If needed, make simple syrup by heating equal parts sugar and water until dissolved, then cool.
  4. Add frozen rosé (or chilled if not frozen), pink lemonade concentrate, strawberries, lemon juice, simple syrup/agave, vodka (if using), and 2 cups ice to a blender. Blend on high until smooth and slushy. Adjust thickness with more ice or liquid as needed. Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness.
  5. Optional: For a smoother texture, strain the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer to remove seeds.
  6. Rim glasses with sugar if desired. Pour frosé into glasses and garnish with lemon wheels, berries, and mint. Serve immediately.

Notes

Freeze rosé and fruit ahead for the best slushie texture. Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness as needed. For a mocktail, use sparkling pink lemonade instead of wine and omit vodka. Serve immediately for best results, or freeze blended mixture in cubes for later. Garnish just before serving.
