  • 2 ounces silver or blanco tequila
  • 1 ounce triple sec or orange liqueur
  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 1 ounce cranberry juice
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup

  • Orange zest (optional)
  • Ice (crushed or cubed)
  • Salt or cinnamon sugar (for rimming the glass)
  • Fresh cranberries (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your glasses by rimming them with cinnamon sugar or salt. Rub a wedge of lime around the rim and dip it into the sugar or salt.

  3. Add ground cinnamon and freshly grated nutmeg to the shaker.
  4. Fill the shaker with ice, cover, and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
  5. Strain the mixture into the prepared glass over fresh ice. For a blended margarita, blend the mixture with a cup of ice until smooth.
  6. Garnish with a cinnamon stick, orange zest, and fresh cranberries.
